Author Guidelines
Online Submission Procedure
Journal of Islamic Education and Ethics (JIEE) uses an online submission platform. This system enables authors to trace the progress of their manuscript submission and speeds up the article’s processing time. For the initial stage, authors must conform to our guidelines (see the manuscript structure). Manuscripts that do not comply with the guidelines will be rejected.
All submissions are done online via https://jiee.umy.ac.id/index.php/jiee
All first-time users must first register themselves as Authors. Please click on the register button to the top of this page and enter the requested information They will then receive a username and password to log-in and submit their journal. Please click the login button on the left and login to the system as "Author." You may then submit your manuscript and track its progress through the system.

General Guideline
The article has not been published in other journals or other places.
- Every manuscript that submitted into JIEE will be scanned using Turnitin (similarity check). Plagiarism tolerance should be under 20%.
- The article should be written in a Word document (Microsoft Word), 1,15 space, 12pt Goudy Old Style, 5.000 to 7.000 words.
- Articles are the result of research or conceptual study.
- Articles are written in English.

TITLE
Not More Than 16 Words, Goudy Old Style 14 Pt Font-Size, Capitalize Each Word, Bold.
ABSTRACT
The abstract must reflect the substance of the whole contents of the article and enable readers to determine relevance to their interest and decide whether or not to read the full document. The abstract consists of a statement of the background, objective of the study or focus of discussion, method, findings, Novelty/Originality of this study, and recommendation. The title and abstract are written in English, each in one paragraph, single spacing, Goudy Old Style font 12, and in total about 250-300 words.
Keywords
It must be a maximum of 5 keywords.
INTRODUCTION
This section should briefly provide information on the background, literature review, and state of the originality of the work, hypothesis, and objective. Avoid the use of secondary citations. Example citation: Religious movements or religious organizations is an organized effort to spread new religions, or new interpretations of existing religions, with internal and external dimensions as aspects of organization in religion (Hakhmigari, Michaeli, Dickson, Scharf, & Shulman, 2019).
METHODS
This segment should inform readers of the materials and methods that the authors have used for the research. Please ensure that sufficient information has given to allow for repetition of the research. Example citation: (Zhao, Jiang, & Yin, 2019).
RESULT AND DISCUSSION
This section contains the data characteristic of the subject/ object/ sample/ research respondent, data analysis result, testing instrument and hypothesis (if any), the answer to the research question, findings, and findings interpretation. This section if possible can be graphed for each research variable. Furthermore, the descriptive statistic value was presented (eg; Mean, SD, Maximum, Minimum) with its interpretation. The end of the section showed the hypothesis research result and its discussion completely. All margins should be 3 cm with A4 for the size of the paper. Sizes and styles of page setup are shown below. The example of the table and picture are also shown below.

CONCLUSIONS
Present the main conclusions of the study. This section should also highlight the implication of the findings (e.g., a suggestion for future research, policy suggestions, etc).
REFERENCE
All reference results referred to in the article text must use primary references. We will usually expect a minimum of 30 references primarily to journal papers, depending on the length of the paper. The reference uses the APA 7th Edition. Cite references in the text by name and year in parentheses. For references in a non-English language, provide the English translation between square brackets ([ ]) right after the title. Authors are strongly urged to use a reference manager such as ENDNOTE, MENDELEY, or ZOTERO.
